Valve Steam Machine

New information about the Valve Steam Machine game console that concerns the design of perspective devices has been announced recently.

It is reported that Steam Machine will resemble a game computer run on Windows with various modifications of Intel Core, 16 GB of DDR3 memory and a hybrid disc from 1 to 8 terabytes. Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 will be used as a video card in cheaper models, while more expensive ones will be equipped with GTX 760/780.

The representatives of Valve emphasize that Steam Machine is assembled from standard components, and the users will be able to upgrade it. Finally, the latest news from Valve sounds like a hint: those who are not going to buy a separate PC for gaming will be offered a different solution: Steam games will be broadcast from a computer in another room and shown on an HD TV.
